MONDAY: Logan Health Nurses prep for June 1-3 unfair labor practice strike
Making signs, practicing chants, hundreds of nurses ready to take a stand for their patients

KALISPELL—650 registered nurses have been calling on Logan Health to bargain in good faith for a fair union contract that prioritizes staffing, recruitment and retention for safe patient care. Now, those nurses are readying for their three-day unfair labor practice strike June 1-3 amplifying their call for Logan Health, which reported $174 million in cash and cash equivalents at the end of Q4 2020, to invest in care and caregivers.

Monday evening, nurses will gather to make signs, practice picket line chants, and prepare for their strike. Barring a last-minute agreement, the nurses will strike from 7 am Tuesday, June 1, through 6:59 am Friday, June 4.
